Do I need to know music theory?

No. RiffToSong explains every key, chord, and term in plain language as it comes up, and always offers a sensible default so you're never stuck.

Does it work for both guitar and piano?

Yes. Pick your instrument up front — guitar plugs in through the mic or an audio interface, piano can do the same or connect directly over MIDI for the most accurate reading.

What happens after the free week?

Your membership continues at $30/month. You won't be charged during the first 7 days, and you can cancel from your account at any time before then at no cost.

Can I get my song into Logic Pro or GarageBand?

Yes. Export bounced audio and MIDI stems directly — both open natively in Logic Pro, GarageBand, Ableton, or any other DAW.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, with no extra steps or retention calls — cancel from your account settings whenever you'd like.

Why is lyric help metered but songs aren't?

Every arrangement renders right on your device, so making songs never costs us anything extra — there's no reason to cap it. Lyric help calls an AI model on our servers, which does cost us per request, so it comes with a generous monthly allowance (300 generations). After that, rhyme and template tools keep working for free; AI-drafted lines pick back up next billing cycle.
